Almost all these photos were developed on May 7th, 1940. The parade must have been shortly before these snapshots were taken with the Carmenites and Indian dancers standing on main streets of Carmen, Oklahoma. By the way, Larry Hedrick checked, and says his mom was not born in Seiling, Oklahoma. She was born on the Clements homestead a few miles north of Orion, Oklahoma. Her mother was a Clements.
